Uniting healthcare leaders for a sustainable future
Tour de Health’24 – Partnering for sustainable Health Innovation is a high-level international dialogue-based conference, building on format and learnings from Tour de Health’22.
The conference aims to inspire and actively engage international delegates from 13 countries to showcase Danish good practices in multi-stakeholder and sector collaborations and co-create context-based approaches to address the current healthcare challenges through partnerships.
The ambition is to enable an international platform, where the programme is designed to highlight the value of and opportunities for multi-stakeholder and sector collaborations in healthcare both from a Danish and an international perspective. A two-day conference will facilitate presentations of how innovative models of collaboration across stakeholders and sectors can improve health, while supporting economic growth and promoting export.
The Danish public-private partnership Lighthouse Life Science will be highlighted as one example of a Danish multi-stakeholder and sector collaboration alongside insights in the fundamentals of a thriving Life Science ecosystem.
We cannot solve complex challenges in silos; we need everyone to be involved, and we need to support public-private funding mechanisms. Denmark has a strong tradition of finding solutions in partnerships, across public and private stakeholders and sectors. Through multi-stakeholder partnerships we can find innovative solutions to the benefit of populations globally. We also need international exchanges and cooperation to solve common healthcare challenges. This is what the conference is facilitating between 14 countries with a focus on a multistakeholder approach to health.
The conference takes an equity lens. A key aspect is ensuring access to quality healthcare without facing financial hardship for the most vulnerable populations.
