Jeanett Strandbygaard, MD, PhD, is an associate professor and project leader of the OR Black Box in Copenhagen, and a consultant at Rigshospitalet’s obstetrics department. The OR Black Box improves surgical quality and patient safety using audio, video, and AI. The system, installed in seven operating rooms, provides real-time data to reduce errors and enhance training. Jeanett also leads research, including several PhD projects, on the system’s impact on surgery and safety.
