About Tour de Health ‘26

Tour de Health’26 marks the third edition of a high-level international dialogue-based conference.

The conference brings together international delegates to address how healthcare systems can adapt to a rapidly changing world. Geopolitical uncertainty and rapid technological development are reshaping the conditions for care. The program focuses on innovation in prevention and early detection, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and stronger cross-sector collaboration.

The ambition is to create an international platform for navigating shared global health challenges through the exchange of perspectives across systems and contexts, with a focus on building more resilient, efficient, and adaptive health systems.

Tour de Health’26 takes place in Innovation District Copenhagen, reflecting Denmark’s strong life science ecosystem and tradition of public-private collaboration. Workshop-based sessions and site visits offer insights into Danish approaches while enabling peer-to-peer dialogue and co-creation of context-specific responses to common challenges.

What is Innovation District Copenhagen?

Innovation District Copenhagen is one of Europe’s leading hubs for health, life science, and technology. The district brings together world-class universities, hospitals, companies, and startups in a unique ecosystem for research and innovation. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, it offers strong conditions for collaboration, talent attraction, and the development of innovative solutions. Through close partnerships across sectors, the district aims to accelerate innovation that addresses major societal challenges in health, climate, and sustainability.

Why is Tour de Health‘26 important?

Healthcare systems are facing increasing pressure from demographic changes, rising costs, and growing complexity. Addressing these challenges requires new approaches. No country can solve these challenges alone. Stronger collaboration across sectors, disciplines, and borders is essential to develop solutions that are both effective and scalable solutions, while ensuring timely and equitable access to high-quality healthcare.

Denmark has a strong tradition of public-private collaboration and integrated approaches to healthcare innovation. By bringing together international leaders and stakeholders, Tour de Health’26 provides a platform for exchange, learning, and jointly explore how innovation – including prevention, early detection, and emerging technologies – can support more resilient, future-ready, and equitable health systems.
