Tour de Health’26 – Healthcare of Tomorrow – Healthcare in a Changing World is a high-level international dialogue-based conference planned by Healthcare Denmark in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior and Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs and private Healthcare Denmark partners. The conference builds on the format and insights from the two previous Tour de Health conferences in 2022 and 2024 and facilitates mutual exchange and learnings across partner countries and stakeholders.

The program is designed to highlight the value of and opportunities for multi-stakeholder and sector collaboration in healthcare both from a Danish and an international perspective. It combines high-level discussions, interactive workshops, and site visits, offering participants practical insights into Danish approaches while enabling dialogue and the exchange of knowledge across systems and contexts.

The conference will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from November 17-19, 2026, centered around Innovation District Copenhagen.

Innovation District Copenhagen is one of Europe’s leading hubs for health, life science, and technology. The district brings together world-class universities, hospitals, companies, and startups in a unique ecosystem for research and innovation. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, it offers strong conditions for collaboration, talent attraction, and the development of innovative solutions. Through close partnerships across sectors, the district aims to accelerate innovation that addresses major societal challenges in health, climate, and sustainability.

Healthcare Denmark, in close collaboration with Danish embassies, invites a select group of international and Danish stakeholders. Participants include senior government officials – such as Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretaries from Ministries of Health, Finance, and Industry – as well as key opinion leaders shaping health policy and system development.

The conference also convenes health system executives, including Chief Executives, Chief Medical Officers, and Innovation Directors from hospitals, along with senior representatives from organizations driving innovation in primary care.

In addition, a group of leading Danish public and private stakeholders from the life science ecosystem will participate in Tour de Health’26.

Health systems are being reshaped by shifting demographics, rising expectations, and rapid technological change. This calls for new approaches to how healthcare is organized, delivered, and financed.

The aim of Tour de Health’26 is to bring together international decision-makers and experts to explore practical pathways for transformation. Through dialogue and exchange of insights, Tour de Health‘26 focuses on how health solutions and collaboration can drive meaningful change and support more sustainable and adaptable health systems.

Healthcare systems are under increasing pressure from demographic changes, rising costs, and growing complexity. Addressing these challenges requires new approaches and stronger collaboration across sectors and borders. No country can solve these challenges alone.

Tour de Health’26 brings together international leaders and stakeholders to exchange perspectives and insights – such as prevention, early detection, and emerging technologies – can help strengthen health systems and improve access to care.
