Dr. Kirk Taylor is President and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, where he leads initiatives to strengthen innovation, economic growth, and investment across the life sciences ecosystem.

He is a physician and pharmaceutical executive with extensive experience in drug development, spanning neuroscience, oncology, and rare diseases. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions including Chief Medical Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Taylor worked across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, guiding research and development programs from clinical development through commercialization. He has also played a key role in supporting the growth of emerging life sciences companies through multiple funding rounds and periods of strategic expansion.

As CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, Dr. Taylor oversees public and private investments aimed at advancing research, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and innovation within one of the world’s leading life sciences clusters.
