Dr. Robert Fields is Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), a Harvard-affiliated 14-hospital health system in Boston.

He is a family medicine physician and healthcare executive with extensive experience in population health, value-based care, healthcare policy, and health system transformation.

Prior to joining BILH in 2023, Dr. Fields served as Chief Population Health Officer at Mount Sinai, where he led population health and managed care initiatives across one of the largest health systems in the United States. Earlier in his career, he practiced primary care medicine with a focus on underserved communities.

In his current role, Dr. Fields leads system-wide efforts in quality and safety, primary care, behavioral health, home-based care, managed care, population health, clinical innovation, and the implementation of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

His professional interests focus on improving healthcare quality, advancing value-based care, and integrating population health approaches into healthcare delivery.
