Dr. Trong Khoa Nguyen is Deputy Director-General of the Medical Services Administration at the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, where he helps shape national healthcare policy and oversees the quality, safety, organization, and governance of healthcare services across the country.

He holds a medical degree from Hanoi Medical University and a PhD in Public Health and Health Organization.

With more than 30 years of experience in clinical medicine, public health, and healthcare administration, Dr. Trong Khoa Nguyen has played a central role in the development and modernization of Vietnam’s healthcare system. He has led national initiatives to strengthen hospital quality management, patient safety, emergency care, laboratory quality systems, and digital health.

In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Dr. Trong Khoa Nguyen is an active researcher and policy expert who has contributed to numerous national healthcare policies, national technical standards, clinical guidelines, and international publications.

His professional interests focus on building resilient, patient-centered, and high-quality health systems through evidence-based policy, innovation, and international collaboration.
