Martin Svensson is Chief Executive Officer of the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI), which operates Gefion, Denmark’s first AI supercomputer.

Prior to joining DCAI, Martin spent eight years building AI Sweden, the Swedish national center for applied artificial intelligence. As Managing Director, he led the organization’s growth and worked closely with companies and public institutions to translate data and AI into commercial and societal impact.

Earlier in his career, Martin held leadership positions in internationally focused growth companies and has extensive experience working at the intersection of technology, innovation, and business transformation. In 2024, he served on the Swedish Government’s AI Commission, contributing to national discussions on the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence.

As CEO of DCAI, Martin is focused on advancing access to state-of-the-art computing infrastructure and accelerating the development and adoption of artificial intelligence across research, industry, and society.
