Susanne Hyldelund is State Secretary for Trade & Investment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, a position she assumed in August 2026 and previously held from 2017 to 2020.

She holds a Cand.merc. degree from Aarhus University.

Prior to her current role, Susanne served as Head of Department at the MFA Academy. Her career also includes extensive international experience, having served as Denmark’s Ambassador to Germany (2020-2024), Consul General in Shanghai (2009-2012), and Head of Commercial Department in Warsaw (2004-2006).

As State Secretary for Trade & Investment, she is responsible for supporting Danish companies abroad and attracting international investment and key competencies to Denmark. She is also a board member of Healthcare Denmark.

Susanne will deliver the welcome speech at Tour de Health 2026 in Eigtveds Pakhus on November 17.
