Ebba Carbonnier is CEO of QuNorth, a Nordic quantum computing company dedicated to creating practical value from quantum technology for research, industry, and society.

Prior to joining QuNorth, Ebba served as Director of the Swedish Quantum Life Science Centre at Karolinska Institutet. She also co-authored Sweden’s national quantum agenda and co-founded the Nordic Quantum Life Science Roundtable in 2021.

Before entering the quantum technology sector, Ebba spent 14 years in management consulting, advising international organizations and companies across healthcare, technology, and innovation, including Microsoft, AstraZeneca, and Ericsson.

As CEO of QuNorth, Ebba is leading the deployment of one of the world’s most powerful quantum computing systems, providing researchers and industry with access to advanced quantum technologies and accelerating the development of next-generation applications.

In addition to her executive responsibilities, she has served on several boards and advisory groups across the Nordic quantum research and innovation ecosystem.
