Prof. Radhika Tandon is Dean of Research at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and Chief and Professor of Ophthalmology at the Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences.

She is an ophthalmologist, researcher, and academic leader with more than three decades of experience in clinical practice, medical education, and research.

Throughout her career at AIIMS, Prof. Tandon has held several senior academic and leadership positions. She became Professor of Ophthalmology in 2005, was appointed Chief of the Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences in 2025 and assumed the role of Dean of Research in 2026.

Her clinical and research expertise spans corneal transplantation, eye banking, stem cell therapy, refractive surgery, and advanced cataract surgery.

In her current roles, Prof. Tandon combines clinical expertise with research and academic leadership, contributing to the advancement of medical research, education, and ophthalmic care in India.
